So, while I was dealing with My Grandmother's impending ascension, I had the misfortune to see just how selfish and ugly too many people in Our Scene are. Little do they know that although I have patience for people's personal growth, I have no tolerance for monsters. I changed a lot in this Newsletter in honor of the fabulous Woman My Grandmother was: She taught Me to forgive the ignorant and to sincerely wish those unfortunate creatures well-being. And so, I do -- as long as they are not stupid enough to invade My Space again.

As small as O/our Scene is, one would think that people would be more careful with their behavior. Even more importantly, to be careful with their reputations and egos. First offense: I intensely dislike having to drop down to the level of trash in order for them to understand that I have put them exactly where I want them. Since some people can't handle their alcohol consumption, lack proper training in technique, lack any sense of etiquette, and don't know how to behave in general, My tolerance for their ignorance in My Domain exhausts rather quickly. Therefore, since it is necessary for Me to "slum" in order to communicate with them at all, I choose to enjoy screwing with their heads - which is all too easy, as they give themselves way too much credit for the actual level of their intelligence. If you create some "scenario" in your head about Me and behave according to your nonsensical creation, it's a guarantee that I will manipulate you with your own drama all too easily. And I will enjoy it more than you can possibly imagine. The absolute WORST thing anyone can ever do is to make a direct threat to Me. It is a HUGE, scary mistake. HUGE and stupid. Second offense: someone I thought was a friend slammed Me and My Event publicly and then, went out and partied with Me before I'd seen what she'd written! What was she thinking? To keep it short and as sweet as possible, her egomania and lack of self-love are the reasons she has no REAL friends and does not deserve any. she is surrounded by people who want to use her for whatever purpose she can serve. If she continues on this path of back-stabbing and foul behavior, she will die miserable, alone and forgotten by those she believes honor her. Sad, truly sad. I forgive them, yet, I won't forget, and I won't tolerate them. (Interestingly enough, these two offenders dislike each other ~ probably because they are so much alike.) I work VERY hard to forgive "shady people" and understand that such attacks are motivated by their lack of self-love, self-respect and self-acceptance. They are confused to think that "dissing" you will elevate their views of themselves. How pathetic. Therefore, I force Myself to find compassion and pity them because it must be horrible not to love yourself. I send them positive energy ~ even if I choose to ensure that they are not allowed in My Domain again or if I allow them to make amends. Truthfully, I hope that they find happiness because this world is miserable enough without disliking yourself ~ which only makes things worse. And I truly hope that they see what's REALLY in the mirror. Forgiveness is very important because everyone makes mistakes and there are a variety of reasons that can make a person "flip out". Recently, I had an allergic reaction to a medication which caused Me to behave in ways that are completely opposite to My truth. All I could do was apologize to those I'd offended. They can either accept it or not ~ (well, they could if their leader let them know about it). I have the integrity to honor when I am wrong and take responsibility to make amends. Ultimately, the test of your character is when you look in the mirror: Do you like and love who you see? Or are you creating a self-deluding mask to hide the pain of who you really are? Is the reputation that precedes you an embarrassing one? Take a good look at those around you whom you care for, as they reflect your truth. And take a good, long look in the mirror.

My 2007 NYC Fetish Marathon Party! | |
 There are lots of changes to the New York City Fetish Marathon this year, but one thing remains the same: My Classic Fetish™ Party will have the elegant, sophisticated, beautiful people and vibe as always! Again, I am pleased that Joe Love will be My MC, bringing his joyous personality and special attentions to all the fun folks! I will announce the special attractions very soon, but as always, there will be special PartyDomme Play Favors for a good time at the Party and long afterwards! I usually have a theme for My Events, but I thought that since there was so much going on during the Marathon, that to have a regular Classic Fetish™ Party was more than enough! After all, My Classic Fetish™ Parties are unique and there is nothing else like them for the Marathon... or otherwise for that matter!
