I am a firm believer in what Cosmetics Queen Mary Kay Ash said: "God first, family second, career third."  I guess that puts Shoe Shopping 4th and Partying 5th on the list, and everything else falls into place after that.  So, there will be a small delay in the schedule for My next event, but it is coming soon!

So much has happened in the past few weeks that I barely know where to begin, but I will start with the great news about My Fetish Marathon Party!  Those who know Me enjoy My desires to create new and different ventures to give REAL SCENE PLAYERS something conducive to what We love about being Scene Players and something different to do in the current state of Scene affairs.  VANTAGE began with a mini-workshop of My GoddessGlide™ techniques and evolved into 4 - yes, 4 - distinct parties all rolled into one evening! 

Elegant TGirls, delectable couples, and dashing gentlemen started Us off with beauty and charming conversation which quickly turned into a lovely bit of Play with spankings and bondage.  A little later, some Classic Fetishists™ arrived to converse, Play, and spread their glory with old and new friends.  As they are known to do, the shiny people arrived around Midnight with bags of "Toys" and made full use of the St. Andrew's Cross, Antique Spanking Bench, and Inversion Bondage Table on the stage.  Just when We thought the evening might come to an end, those fabulous Fetish Artists arrived, staked out their spaces and delighted Us ~ and Themselves ~ with floggings, single-tailings, bondage, spankings, and wax play!   And I got a chance to Play with a delicious masochist with whom I hope to have a long and wonderful friendship in the future!

As always, I design My music to create a comfortable environment where conversation is possible without unwanted pain to One's ears or vocal chords and yet, perfect for Scenes and Play that occurs.  Well, I must have truly keyed into My psychic vibes because One would have thought that the music was specifically designed to accompany the magnificent Scenes that occurred throughout the evening!   Beauty, talent, skill, fun, and art!  What more can a Hostess desire from Her event?

I want to thank all of the magnificent people who made VANTAGE most enjoyable and am only sorry that ~ though I thought I made it clear ~ EVERYONE did not sign the Guest Registry.  I make this special request at every event so that I can offer special perks to those who support My contributions to the Scene to attend private, complimentary, and other events in the future.  That is how so many attendees of VANTAGE where given complimentary admission.  I also like to send each and every attendee a personalized thanx email.  Unfortunately, there are several names and contact info of great people I partied with missing from My Guest Registry... 

Special thanx to "just Nelson" for bartending and introducing Me to Annida Greenkard; to Romello of Paradise Lost and Suite Abyss; and again, to all of the marvelous, fashionable, Fetish People who are old and new friends who came out to Party with Me!  Truly, You make life wonderful!   And Lucky Cheng's was a nice place for a Classic Fetish™ visit.

Now, I really want to thank the people I did not know before and those to whom I did not give complimentary admission (which I gave to just about everyone I know and who has frequented My previous events) for attending VANTAGE.  Amazingly, there was a little money collected from the admission fee!  Now, I am not accustomed to making money from My events ~ money is never My primary motivation for having a soiree.  So, I decided to donate the money to a worthy cause and asked several Scene People who are close to Me if the following was OK with Them and They thought it was wonderful!  

Long story short, there is a boy in My neighborhood who is entering puberty and his body is not growing "normally".  I have seen him watching with longing as other children play in the Little League baseball  in the park.  I know that this boy's mother (a recent widow) cannot afford to pay for him to join Little League, so I asked the coach if an anonymous sponsorship could be set up for him and the answer was yes!  Even better, the coach told Me that there was an organization who would match funds, so We were able to send 2 underprivileged children to Little League this summer with the money from VANTAGE!!!!!!

Now, that's what I call giving back to the community ~ both Our Fetish Community and our vanilla community!

Again, many, many thanx to all of You wonderful VANTAGE attendees!  I have already seen one of Our beneficiaries on his way to practice in his new uniform with a smile on his face that made the clouds clear up in the sky.  I know that this little gesture of Our care will change his life for the better.

Several events have occurred over the past few weeks that have prompted Me to make a new commitment to Living Joyously:

1.  My Epiphany of 2021 ~ What If?;

2.  I won (another) prestigious award in My vanilla life for techniques that I have developed and am not thrilled about it at all due to the organization's prejudice against how I use My Work in the Fetish Arts (see My upcoming blog); and

3.   I have embarked on My life of Responsibly Living for Pleasure, also known as My New Religion, "Spiritual Hedonism" (hey, L. Ron Hubbard did it, so have I!).  In the past few weeks, there have been quite a few people who have not appreciated My Gracious Goddessness and because I do believe in the Greater Good, I have ~ as always ~ taken the High Road when dealing with them -- but I was NOT enjoying it!   It is very hard to take the High Road with people with low-life behavior.  It's even hard to take the High Road when people don't mean to be offensive, but invade Your space anyway.   Resisting the temptation to slap down the twits completely takes away from My enjoyment of being a Sadist!

So, what did I do?  I found a new experience of pleasure through My choice to be Responsible to the Greater Good.  This is not easy, but totally worth it.  We can grow through joy as well as through pain and We all know that there is such a deliciously, fine line between the two!   My experience of the Greater Good is the recognition of the beauty of life expressed in all its glorious ways to allow Us to evolve into being the best that We can be.

So, this is My gift to you today: choose Joy and be responsible to the source of your joy and the Greater Good.  Every time We are confronted with something that appears to block Our joy, it is a gift from The Universe and from your Highest Self for you to actually connect with your power and see how powerful you are.   With power comes responsibility to be an asset to the Whole of Life because everything you do affects others in some way.  So, start from a place of contributing to the Greater Good and you will see that riding the waves of Joy is just a matter of practice and strengthening your skills (like learning to surf!).

One sure way to strengthen your tools for choosing to Live Joyously is to focus on all that you have.  All spiritual and religious teachings tell you in one way or another to "count your blessings" and blessings are something that all of Us who have the ability to read this right now have so many more of than the vast majority of the people on this planet.  So, instead of whining about how you need a new car, or you're fat, or you don't have enough money to take another vacation, remember that you have so much to be thankful for.  For example, you have:

• food to eat when there are people starving to death - literally;
• a home with running water, electricity, the internet, a computer, etc. - hey, you have a home when there are thousands of homeless people right in your country, even in your city (see link below);
• you have clothes, Fetish attire and otherwise, when the majority of people in the world don't even have shoes;
• you woke up this morning able to see the beauty that surrounds you, if you care to take the time to look...

Start your day by listing 10 things to be thankful for.  You will be amazed at how in no time at all, things get better, including your ability to deal with stress and distress.  And this will boost you on your way to Living Joyously!

One point of interest of Spiritual Hedonism that revolves around Responsibility is My concept and practice of Responsible Sadism.  I am writing about these things further in My New Blog, and I will let you know when I've published it. 

In the meantime, take a moment to think of 10 things you have to be thankful for right NOW and strengthen your ability to Live Joyously!

~ Something Fabulous!  Judy Chicago's "The Dinner Party" Exhibit at The Brooklyn Museum.   Take the virtual tour of an absolutely, phenomenal work by artist Judy Chicago, which is housed at The Brooklyn Museum in New York City.  If you are lucky enough to see it in person, do so!  You won't regret it.  Plus, The Brooklyn Museum has one of (if not "the") largest collections of Egyptian artifacts in the world!

Good Works!

~ Homeless Gear.  The mission of Homeless Gear is a simple one. Collect unwanted outdoor gear (packs, sleeping bags, etc) and re-distribute these items to the homeless. Homeless Gear intends to find a home for all unwanted outdoor gear and make the outdoors a little more like home for those without permanent shelter.  A segment of the homeless community can not gain entrance into overnight shelters because they have issues with drug or alcohol use. Even if they do find overnight shelter they have to spend the majority of their day outside in the elements. Imagine what a sleeping bag would do for someone forced to sleep or spend the day in their car or under a bridge.

~ FreeRice is a great way to contribute to the world hunger problem while enhancing your vocabulary.  So, it is not only good for you, it is great for your kids.  For each word that you correctly know the meaning of, several grains of rice are placed in a virtual bowl.  When the bowl is full, you continue to create another bowl.  The bowls of rice you create are donated to starving nations.  The site keeps track of your best score and stays challenging with a wide variety of words.  So, feed the hungry every day with FreeRice.  I contribute at least 1000 grains every day.  Go for it!

I REALLY dislike SPAM, but worse, I dislike when My emails go into Y/your spam folder because people did not follow the easy instructions to make sure that Y/you receive My Emails.

So, here's a tip for easy viewing of Y/your spam folder: alphabetize the FROM column.  Y/you should be able to click on the small toolbar above your emails that lists who the emails are from, the subject, etc.  If Y/you click on the FROM tab, your emails should sort alphabetically.  The same goes for navigating your emails by clicking on the Date, Subject and other tabs to sort them for easy reading.  This little tip will save Y/you a lot of time and aggravation.

And be certain to CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER every day!
